Veramark CEO to Speak at INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2009

Veramark Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solutions, today announced that Tony Mazzullo, Veramark President and CEO, has accepted an invitation to speak at TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2009. The session entitled “Telecom Expense Management” will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 3:00 pm in the Miami Beach Convention Center (enterprise session track: E-04). Mazzullo will discuss the business issues driving telecom expense management and how organizations can cut unnecessary telecom expenses based on a “TEM Maturity Model.” In addition, Mazzullo will address the future of communications expense management and cost saving strategies.

“I’m happy to have this opportunity to speak with experts in communications networks,” said Mazzullo. “My presentation will show how the concept of a TEM Maturity Model can help organizations plan and execute a successful telecom expense management program, whether their communications network is based on traditional telephony, IP telephony or hybrid technology.”

Veramark provides a full suite of telecom expense management solutions, including software and services. VeraSMART Communications Management Suite, Veramark’s TEM enabling technology, automates many functions associated with enterprise telecom order management, invoice processing and auditing, inventory and asset management, dispute management, call accounting, reporting and data analytics. VeraSMART can be deployed as part of an outsourced, hosted or licensed solution.

“ITEXPO East is a good venue for the exchange of ideas about the value of TEM in today’s challenging economic conditions,” said Mazzullo. “Attendees will gain insight into solutions that can help their organizations realize significant savings through a systematic approach to TEM process development.”

The INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO is the world’s largest and best-attended IP Communications trade show. At the 2008 east coast event last January, the show drew over 7,000 buyers and sellers of IP Communications products and services. The show next month in Miami will mark the 10th anniversary and be the 19th INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, and TMC once again projects total attendance to exceed 7,000.

“We are very pleased that Mr. Mazzullo will be participating in this year’s show. Veramark is widely recognized as a leader in telecom expense management, and I am confident that our attendees will appreciate and value the opportunity to hear his perspective on TEM,” said TMC President and Conference Chairman, Rich Tehrani. “Over the past twelve months, widespread deployment of IP Communications services by global service providers, businesses and governments has reinforced that this exciting technology is a viable, cost-effective communications solution. As a result, we are seeing a significant number of senior-level executives attending INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO as a means of learning about the technology so they too can take advantage of its benefits.”

TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2009 takes place February 2 – 4, 2009 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida. Registration for the show is now open. Anyone interested may register by visiting www.itexpo.com.
