Veramark Announces VeraSMART Communications Management Suite 8.0

Introduces International Capabilities for Communications Expense Management

Veramark Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:VERA.OB), a leading provider of communications management solutions, today announced the release of VeraSMART® 8.0 Communications Management Suite. Version 8.0 introduces new international capabilities designed to help multinational organizations reduce the cost of their global communications networks.

“VeraSMART 8.0 was developed in response to requests from the many Fortune 500 corporations that use VeraSMART today,” said Ken Kogut, Vice President of Business Development. “The new features give our customers more control over their communications expenses, including the cost of U.S. and international land and mobile telecommunications services. VeraSMART 8.0 helps drive expense reduction and cost avoidance, resulting in an increase in bottom line performance.”

VeraSMART 8.0 introduces new international capabilities. This option is designed for customers with switches located outside the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) and includes more than 130,000 global city and country codes and multi-currency call detail record (CDR) rating. Optional services include a rate table service as well as international usage tracking.

VeraSMART 8.0 also includes user interface and navigation enhancements that are based on focus group research and designed to support non-technical users and speed adoption.

The feature-rich base system of the VeraSMART Suite provides enhanced call accounting and intelligent reporting capabilities that provide visibility into worldwide communications network usage and investment. Optional core components provide additional capabilities for invoice management, charge allocation, service management, and asset and inventory management. With modular, Web browser-based architecture, VeraSMART can be configured to meet an organization’s specific requirements.

Component integration is facilitated by new a directory synchronization capability. This option allows the customer to map Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directory data to the VeraSMART database and synchronizes personnel, billing number, and authorization codes with LDAP directories automatically. All currently supported versions of LDAP are included.

“VeraSMART 8.0 can save a multinational corporation millions in communications expenses,” said Tony Mazzullo, President and CEO of Veramark. “Costs associated with the rapid expansion of communications technology, including data services and wireless networks, represent a significant top-line expense for organizations across all industries. The VeraSMART Suite provides the visibility and control they need to make sound strategic decisions, optimize business processes, and reduce expenses,” Mazzullo explained. “In today’s sluggish economy, few solutions can provide the immediate impact and rapid ROI that VeraSMART delivers.”

VeraSMART can be deployed as part of an outsourced, hosted or licensed solution. VeraSMART 8.0 scales from 50 billing numbers and one premises switch for small organizations to unlimited billing numbers and unlimited telecom usage sources for large enterprise users. An embedded database (SQL Server 2005 Express) is included, and customers with high volume systems or who need a remote database, may opt to use SQL Server Standard Edition.

Veramark will launch VeraSMART 8.0 at the International Nortel Networks Users Association (INNUA) conference in Grapevine, TX, June 1-4, and at Cisco Live in Orlando, FL, June 22-26.

Pricing for VeraSMART 8.0 is based on the size of the customer’s communications network and starts under $5,000. Veramark offers professional services to integrate the software into the customer’s application environment and to help the customer maximize the use of the software, interpret reports, and realize cost savings.

Veramark will start shipping VeraSMART 8.0 beginning June 30, 2008. For more detailed information about features, upgrades, and pricing contact Veramark at [email protected] or visit us on the Web www.veramark.com.
